Global Academy of Holistic Nursing Dialogues and Membership

Now it is time to talk about the implications of GAHN scholarship as  leaders in healthcare transformation. Barring life events, GAHN Honorary Member, Dr. Christopher Johns will lead our next series of Dialogues on Monday, May 15, 2023.

AACN Launches New Leadership Education Modules: Lead with Ethics, Intention and Purpose

This resource was developed for nursing professionals at all levels, including those aspiring to leadership roles.

This on-demand modules series offers guidance and practical strategies on how to navigate real-world challenges and amplify your effectiveness. Content is designed to stimulate fresh thinking and provide solutions to some of your most pressing challenges.  Modules will enrich your understanding of key principles and practices needed for leaders to succeed in the academic arena.  Those that complete all 4 modules are eligible to receive 11.5 credit hours.


SHARP Training: Skills for Health And Research Professionals

In 2023, SHARP trainings will be offered in-person, livestream virtual, or hybrid (in-person and livestream virtual). In-person and hybrid trainings will take place in New York City. Each training is different and specific workshop location details can be found on each respective training page. All trainings regardless of location are live, and are not self-paced, pre-recorded courses.

  • In-person trainings take place on the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) campus, located approximately 20-25 minutes by subway north of Columbia University’s main Morningside campus.  
  • Hybrid trainings take place on the Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) campus, located approximately 20-25 minutes by subway north of Columbia University’s main Morningside campus, AND livestream virtually for remote attendees to participate from another location.
  • Virtual livestream trainings take place on Zoom over live, online video during specific workshop dates and times.

Single Cell Analysis Boot Camp: 2 days to launch students on a path towards mastery of scRNASeq data analysis methods used in health studies.
