What is your favorite DU Nursing memory?

Why did you choose to attend Duquesne University?
I chose Duquesne because of the faculty — they truly serve God by serving students. I have made lasting relationships with the DNP faculty, especially my mentor.
What was your biggest achievement as a DU Nursing student?
Completing my DNP project. So many, many hours spent analyzing data and putting together my manuscript has resulted in a product I am truly proud of.
What words of advice do you have for other students on how to make the most of the Duquesne Nursing experience?
Engage with your professors and your peers. There is so much to learn both from the faculty at Duquesne and the brilliant students coming from all different walks of life, especially in graduate school.
What are your plans or goals for the future?
I am starting in a new position as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Notre Dame of Maryland University in Baltimore, Maryland, this fall. The DNP degree will help me in my leadership and further practice partnership opportunities.
