What is your favorite DU Nursing memory?

Waiting for HESI results with my friends and the feeling of relief after finding out we all passed!

What was your favorite late-night study snack?

Popcorn.

Why did you choose to attend Duquesne University?

I was involved in a clinical trial at the Children’s Hospital and a nurse I looked up to told me about Duquesne’s Nursing program. I asked my mom to drive me around campus after my visit, and I fell in love. I decided right then and there that I would go to Duquesne and become a nurse, even though I was only 9.

What are you going to miss?

Campus life.

What was your biggest achievement as a DU Nursing student?

Winning the Office of Disability Services Outstanding Undergraduate Research award for my symposium research poster.

What words of advice do you have for other students on how to make the most of the Duquesne Nursing experience?

Enjoy your time as a student; it goes by so fast!

What are your plans or goals for the future?

I am going to start my nursing position at the Children’s Home and work on becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator and Nurse Practitioner.
