Popcorn.
Why did you choose to attend Duquesne University?
I chose Duquesne because it has a few different graduate nursing programs. The university also allows for one to acquire a post-masters degree if desired.
What did you enjoy most about your time at Duquesne and/or as a Nursing student?
Presentation and Blackboard discussion with classmates.
What are you going to miss?
Meeting new people. I have made a few meaningful relationships that I am grateful for.
What was your biggest achievement as a DU Nursing student?
Graduating and passing all my courses.
What words of advice do you have for other students on how to make the most of the Duquesne Nursing experience?
It is important to make/form meaningful relationships because you might need to help each other out in different courses.
What are your plans or goals for the future?
My future goal is to work with victims of human trafficking. My degree from Duquesne University will allow me to provide trauma-focused care to forensic victims/patients. I do plan on returning after graduation to hopefully complete a degree in psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner.
