Being a member of the first PhD cohort to experience international studies at the University College of Dublin Ireland.
What did you enjoy most about your time at Duquesne and as a nursing student?
Creating lasting friendships and connections with members of my PhD cohort.
What are you going to miss?
I will miss access to the Gumberg Library resources and librarians.
What was your biggest achievement as a DU Nursing Student?
Publication of my dissertation.
What words of advice do you have for other students on how to make the most of the Duquesne Nursing experience?
Patience and tenacity are the most valuable character traits for success.
What are you plans or goals for the future? How will your degree from Duquesne help you accomplish these plans/goals?
I plan to teach undergraduate nursing students and pursue research in the patient-nurse relationship.
