What is your favorite DU Nursing memory?

Having the opportunity to go to Italy to study health care.

What did you enjoy most about your time at Duquesne as a nursing student?

The people I met, both the faculty and my cohort.

What are you going to miss?

My cohort. Most of us went to Italy in our second semester, and we had so many adventures there! These are friendships I will keep for my lifetime.

What was your biggest achievement as a DU Nursing student?

Completing my DNP project.

What words of advice do you have for other students on how to make the most of the Duquesne Nursing experience?

Be open to new ideas and challenge yourself to be better version of yourself. We always have room to improve.

What are your plans or goals for the future?

I will continue to be a nursing professor in the Florida community college system. The lessons I have learned at Duquesne University have prepared me to be a better educator. It has equipped me to evaluate and apply best practices for nursing education.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?

Choosing Duquesne University for my DNP was one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
